Ever since rumours of the new Nintendo console surfaced, many Zelda fans feared that the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword would be delayed for release on the new console instead of the Wii. Eiji Aonuma who has overseen the Zelda franchise since Ocarine of Time, has confirmed that Skyward Sword will not be delayed for the Wii U because it has been designed specifically around the motion plus experience.
